Recently, Yuanpei Chen, Co-founder and Head of Reinforcement Learning at PsiBot, was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2025 list in the AI category. As one of the few tech entrepreneurs born after 2000 on this year’s list, Chen represents a new generation of innovation and leadership in the field of artificial intelligence.

Cofounded by Chen Yuanpei in 2024, Beijing-based PsiBot is developing AI models for robots. The company says its technology can allow multiple robotic arms to make complex movements such as stacking building blocks. Last year, PsiBot raised an undisclosed amount of funding from GL Ventures and Lanchi Ventures. Chen holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the South China University of Technology and was a visiting scholar at Peking University and Stanford University, where he was advised by AI pioneer Fei-Fei Li.

His team’s self-developed RL control algorithms have achieved stable deployment in real-world environments, enabling multi-round, multi-goal execution of complex manipulation tasks. His inclusion on the list is not only a recognition of his research capabilities and technical leadership, but also a testament to PsiBot’s core technological strength.
